The interior design for this double storey landed show unit (Belladonna) was carried out during last year’s pandemic season. It was an excitement during the project brief as we are kind of free on the design concept proposal with the purpose to match the market segment of potential buyer. Brainstorming was the most fun activity during the commencement of its design, of course we tried to feed in a lot of different thoughts during the development process. Some crazy themes were well discovered but we nailed down the design direction with redefining the new art-deco influences by focusing on creating the ‘POP’ (popular) elements, in additions with the touch of ‘Lux’ (luxury). We decided to name it ‘Populuxe’ after all. It sounds more like it implements the fashion cycle into the interior design trends.
